Hi I have installed Sermon Browser here: http://www.followchurch.com.au/#messages

My only problem is that when I choose to host the audio file on Sound Cloud and use a link instead of uploading a file I see a globe icon linking me to the Sound Cloud website. I'm wanting to be able to display a player on my website. I can see that the audio player appears when I upload the file directly to my site and I'd like the same audio player to appear if I host the file elsewhere. Is this possible? I have tried embedding the sound cloud player which does work, I guess this could be an alternative option but a player would be better.

Also having just added this latest message I'm hoping that the public podcast feed file would update automatically but I can see that it has not. Do I have to do this manually? http://www.followchurch.com.au?podcast

Thanks.

I don't think sermon browser works with soundcoud, at least I've never seen it. I am using it with amazon S3 and read about people using it with dropbox, so external hosting with a player works.

I've discovered what the issue is!

After seeing your response above I tried dropbox as well and got the same result, just a link to the dropbox website. The urls that sound cloud and dropbox generate don't end in .mp3 there are other variables included. Once I deleted them the player displayed fine and the public feed updated immediately!

OMG what a simple fix! It's cost me days... I read the documentation right through and hours playing with this.

Thanks for responding Extrafino.
