I am having a problem upgrading to WP 3.8.1 with its included mediaelement player. It all works very well on other browsers, but does not display properly on my old XP box with IE 8. I get a black bar across the page with a text link of the mp3 file. Clicking on the link does work. The display looks like this. I also tested it on IE 7 on Windows XP with the same result. I read about possible conflicts between Flash Player version 12 and mediaelement and tried IE 8 with downgraded versions 11 and 10 of Flash Player with no change, so I don't think that's causing it. Any suggestions are appreciated.

A little more information on the above problem: I have another page using the default short code, and it works properly. So, the problem seems to be only related to using the new WP audio player with sermon browser, with IE 8.

I realize it's getting hard to support all these old browsers, but any ideas on how to fix this are greatly appreciated.
