Hi all,
Thank you for your software ! It's perfect.
It's missing french version :). Here is the link for dowload .po : http://uptobox.com/gjema2rpta10
it contains :\"sermon-browser-fr_FR.po + sermon-browser-fr_FR.mo\" by me.
I have a question: how to install french version of the bible on SermonBrowser (xml-bible-web-service-api)
I have http://api.preachingcentral.co.....ion=ls1910 (French: Louis Segond (1910), and now ?
Thanks for your help !

Thank you for the French translation. I'll make sure it gets into the next version.
You can add other versions of the Bible pretty easily. There is a post about it here, but since you've already picked out the version that you want, I can give you custom directions.
All of the different versions available from Mark Barnes' own XML Bible API are listed here. There are four French translations available:
- French: Darby (darby)
- French: Louis Segond (1910) (ls1910)
- French: Martin (1744) (martin)
- French: Ostervald (1996 revision) (ostervald)
You can add one or all four. To do this, you'll need to make a change to the /wp-content/plugins/sermon-browser/sb-includes/dictionary.php file.
Before editing, make sure you backup the file, just in case you make a mistake.
dictionary.php is a relatively short file, and it has two functions in it. The first one, sb_search_results_dictionary(), defines all of the template tags that you can use in the Search Results template. The second one, sb_sermon_page_dictionary(), defines the Single Sermon Page template tags. The Bible text tags are really only useful on the Sermon Page, so we will only be adding our new tags to the second function.
At the end of the sb_sermon_page_dictionary() function, after the last template tag line that you have, add the following lines:
(Click on the link above to see the lines of code.)
After you've added these new template tags to your dictionary.php file, the next step is to edit your Sermon Page template to use one of the new tags. In your WordPress admin panel, go to Sermons, Templates. The second box is named Sermon Page. With the default template, toward the bottom you'll find [esvtext], which inserts the ESV version of the Bible passages. Simply change this to [ls1910text] to switch to the Louis Segond 1910 version.
Two important notes about editing dictionary.php:
1. The dictionary.php file only gets loaded when the Save button is pressed on the Sermons, Templates screen. So after you make any changes to dictionary.php, go to Sermons, Templates, and hit the save button, even if you don't have any changes to make to your templates, so that your new dictionary.php gets loaded.
2. In the future, when you update to a new version of Sermon Browser, you'll need to add these lines of code to your dictionary.php file again, because you will lose your changes when updating. However, I think I'd like to add all of these versions to the standard dictionary.php file in a future version, so people don't have to worry about adding these in anymore. When Sermon Browser gets a new version, you can look at this post to see what the changes are.
If you have any questions about any of this, please let me know.

Thankyou for your help Ben.
However, with the french translation of SermonBrowser, biblical extracts don't tally with the preaching. The extracts are in french but all the book is quoted and not corresponding verses to the preaching.
I think there is a bad recognition of terms witch are translated by SermonBrowe for the display of the biblical passages.
Another question with the Bible in french (Is1910). I can't see the Bible audio reader as in the english version.

I have a suggestion for the new version : to put a Preaching calendar widget ( witch gives an overview of the preachings clickable in the schedule)
Thanks again for your help.

ArnaudE,
Would you please post a link to your site, so I can take a look at it?
The audio "Listen" link is only available for ESV (English). All other versions, including other English versions and any other language, do not have a Listen link.

ArnaudE,
By the way, I haven't been able to download your files, as I can't get your download link to work. However, I have another French translation that was provided to me earlier, and I'm planning on putting that into the next version.
If you'd like me to look at your French translation, please post the .po file to another site, and provide the link. Otherwise, I'll just use the other one I have.
In either case, I'm going to wait to release the next version until I figure out what is going on with this bug.
