Hi,
I discovered, while trying to add the sermon feed to feedburner, that the production of the RSS feed in Sermon Browser is slow. It results in a timeout in feedburner. It is currently taking approx. 18seconds to produce a feed for about 20 sermons.
Any ideas what might cause this? The feed URL is here: http://www.philipstreet.org.uk.....dcast. If you could recommend a code profiler for PHP or plugin for wordpress I am happy to install and do some further investigation.

Huw,
I see from looking at your feed that you are running W3 Total Cache. I wonder if that is messing up the feed generation.
I would try deactivating W3 Total Cache temporarily and see if that makes the feed appear faster. Let us know what happens.

Hi Ben, thanks for the response. I have disabled the cache entirely and it has made no difference.dies the podcast script attempt the interrogate the enclosures at all? As ours are hosted on drop box I wondered if this was a possible source of the slowdown?
