Creating/renaming series broken

I am currently running SermonBrowser on WordPress 4.1 and can't create new series anymore. A new series will be created, but the name will stay empty. If I try to rename it, the name will show by the JavaScript but will not be saved.

As of now I have to create a series and rename it manually in the database.

Anyone have a fix for this?

Resolved.

It seems it is the same problem I already had.

I am using a PHP Version which does not support the function mysql_real_escape_string, everything passing through this function will return without a value.

I had to remove 8 occurences in sermon-browser/sb-includes/ajax.php and use  $wpdb->prepare to protect from SQL attacks.

So it will now look like this

$ssname = $_POST['ssname'];

After this, everything works again.

I believe my 0.45.12-version is now so heavily modded I will never be able to install another update again :(

If there ever will be one...
