You could add tags by directly modifying records in the database. I can't really write a tutorial for you, but if you are familiar with mySQL and you have specific questions, feel free to ask.
Keep in mind that tags in Sermon Browser 1 are not the same as WordPress tags; they really only have limited functionality. Ask yourself if it is worth the time to retag all the sermons.

Thank you Ben! The reason I was looking into tagging the sermons is so the search function will also search for key words to make it easier to find sermons on our page http://www.lvbaptist.org/servi.....e-podcast/
Do you have a different solution to recommend?

Sermon Browser tags can be useful if you want to link sermons together that are not a part of the same series. If that is your goal, they work for that.
For example, let's say that you want to be able to provide a link to all of your Easter sermons. Some years they might be a part of a series that you had going at the time, and other years they might be a standalone sermon. If you tagged every Easter service with the tag Easter, then you could see all of your Easter sermons at the following link:
lvbaptist.org/service-podcast/?stag=Easter
However, if you already have the word "Easter" in the title or description of these services, and you want someone to be able to search for Easter, they can do this by using the "keyword" search in the drop-down filter. No tags needed.
Sermon Browser tags are not the same as WordPress tags, so if your goal is to use some sort of WordPress plugin that works with tags, the Sermon Browser tags will not be compatible. (Sermon Browser 2, if and when it is ever finished, uses WordPress tags, which offer lots more functionality.)
I just wanted you to understand all of that before you went through the work of adding tags to all 500 of your sermons. Let me know if you have any more questions.
