Shortcode for direct link to MP3 file

Hi,
I'm trying to use the Yahoo Media Player (http://webplayer.yahoo.com/) in a Sermon Browser implementation.

My issue is that shortcodes in SB give me URLs like this: http://vineyardrvc.com/sundays…..-16-11.mp3 instead of a direct URL to the actual MP3. Because of this, Yahoo Media Player doesn't convert the links to players.

Is there a SB shortcode that will give me the direct link to the MP3 & not the "…?show&ampfile_name=…"?

There's got to be an easy way to do it?!

I wouldn't look for a shortcode than. I would just put the hyperlink to the sermon if you don't want the extra coding like SB puts in. WP makes it simple, just write the word Download and make it into the hyperlink pointed to the file. Hope this helps you.

The reason I want a title shortcode (& I know it might not have been the original intent of this thread, so forgive me for 'highjacking' it) is because I'm using the Yahoo Media Player & want to populate the playlist with the sermon titles (currently it's showing the file names). The playlist is populated by title tags on each link.

You can see it in action in our dev environment here: http://vineyardrvc.com/sundays/sermons

I was able to achieve this by hacking Sermon Browser, but I think I've reached the limits of my PHP hackery.

Any other insights would be greatly appreciated!!

I would like to know if I could direct link the mp3 and get rid of the extra code as well. It isn't playing nice with some of the players I want to use. Thanks.
