If you check out my site at http://sermons.aisquith.org you will notice that it no longer displays services or series, but instead the code for "service_phrase" and "series_phrase". This happened upon the last upgrade, too, and I got rid of it by replacing the new dictionary.php with my old one – so I know it must have been something I did in the old version of that file (and I have forgotten what that was). Rather than replacing dictionary.php, I would like to know how to fix it. Any takers?

I figured it out… it was actually a change I made to my template file… and I think I know which change. There is a hack in here somewhere which allows sermons with no series to NOT display "Part of the Series". So I can display series and service names again… but now all my sermons with a "-" in place of a series name display THAT (the dash) as the series name.

Yes, I understand why you'd want to do this. I'm intending to implement this as part of a template upgrade that's in the pipeline. The template upgrade will allow you to specify parameters in your template (e.g. [bible version=esv]). But once that's in place it should be relatively easy to support [series ignore=17] so that you when the sermon is part of series 17 (which will probably be 'none', or 'miscellaneous') the whole "Part of the xxx series" text is ignored.
