I know this is kinda ticky tacky, but does anyone know how to remove the period at the end of each sidebar widget's entry in my sidebar? Here is the link: http://www.bygraceonline.org/wp/

OfflineMindy,
In /sermon-browser/sb-includes/widget.php, line 178 is:
Just take out the period, and you should be all set.
While you are at it, you also might want to take the period out of line 48.
I haven't tried any of this yet, so please post back here after you try it and let us all know if it works. Thanks!
I took out both period occurrences in widget.php (though the line number was a couple off for my file) and it still didn't remove it. Any other thoughts as to where this culprit could be hanging out?
I hate to be a post bumper, but I am pulling my hair out over here trying to find that little period to remove. Any thoughts? Is it for sure located in the widget.php file?

OfflineMindy, it looks like the code in widget.php is old and not used by the modern WordPress sidebar. I think the code that generates the sidebar widget is in the function sb_widget_sermon() in frontend.php. Take the period out of line 100, which currently looks like this:
Please let us know if that works for you.
I am so bummed because I really had high hopes that what you suggested was going to work, but unfortunately, it did not. Any other ideas?

OfflineI just tried the change in frontend.php on our church's site, and it worked. See the "Recent Messages" widget at the bottom of the sidebar on this page:
http://www.pathwayschurch.us/about/
(We don't use the miniplayer, but there used to be a period after the date in each entry of the widget, and now there is not.)
Perhaps you did not change the right line, or you didn't upload the new file to the correct location?
You should be able to see the file currently running in the WordPress control panel. Go to Plugins, find Sermon Browser and click Edit. Click on "sermon-browser/sb-includes/frontend.php". Find the function sb_widget_sermon. Go to the end of the function, and find the line that contains:
If it still contains a period, then the file you edited was not uploaded to the correct location.
Please let me know if you are still having trouble, or if you have more questions.
