Glad to hear things are still working! If this is still the case by the time I release the new version, I simply add code similar to your sermon.php to the new version. But I suspect that at some point the error will show up. So keep me posted…

I'm surprised the error has not shown up, which makes it very difficult to work out the problem.
For the next version (0.43.2) I've added some code that checks to see if there's a problem working out whether an upgrade is required. It also checks much less often. This should stop any repeats of these problems, but as I'm still not sure what caused the last problem I can't guarantee it.
So, before you upgrade, I suggest a backup might be in order.
