I have the most recent SB and audio player plugins, added a sermon and it is ok except the audio player doesnt show

http://huntcountychapel.com/sermons/

I have other sites where they work just fine.

please help me with where to start on this

I have tried disabling the other plugins and a different theme including one that works fine on a similar site.

Thanks,

Don

This works for me on my site http://www.eastgatepressermons.com/

Since MediaElement.js – HTML5 Video & Audio Player updated, here is the short code that I used on my Church site to get MediaElement.js – HTML% Video & Audio Player to work again for Sermon Browser [mejsaudio mp3="%SERMONURL%"] (put this code in the sermon browser options area).  If you want the download link to show up make sure that you have the Audio Player (by By Martin Laine) Activated as well.

sorry, that didnt work, and it gave me this on the page when i updated the option, "Error: You have specified a custom MP3 shortcode, but Wordpress doesn’t know how to interpret it. Make sure the shortcode is correct, and that the appropriate plugin is activated."

This is the code as copy from my Sermon Browser Options page where it says MP3 shortcode: [mejsaudio mp3="%SERMONURL%"].  Please make sure you install and Activate the following plugins MediaElement.js – HTML5 Video & Audio Player and Audio Player

Thanks for the tips, unfortunately this doesnt help. hopefully there is something else i can do. the aggrivating part is this is the only install doing this, the others are on the same server/hosting account, the same theme was used before. nothing else, i guess i could tottaly redo the whole site, fresh wp install and all. i was hoping it doesnt have to come to that.

Don, I'm looking at your site, but it doesn't appear that you are running Sermon Browser anymore.  Did you remove it?  If you put Sermon Browser back on, post back here and I'll try to take a look.

Don,

I'd like you to check something for me.  Go to the sermon edit page. (In the WordPress control panel, click on Sermons.  Then in the list of sermons, click on the "Edit" link next to your sermon.)  At the bottom of the page, under "Attachments," what do you see?  There is a drop down box, and a fill-in text box.  Please tell me what you see in both of those boxes.

Justin,

Your media player on your coolspringschurch.com site is working for me in both Firefox and Internet Explorer on Windows 7.  Are you having trouble with a different browser?

Thanks Ben,

On this particular site, I do believe it's just this computer. I am at a college campus with some restrictions.

@Ben,

Do you know what could have happened to our player?

For some reason when I upgraded MediaElement 2.10.3 of course it broke, however, I am using the "src" in the Option of Sermon Browser. But in our script for the Media element it added a few <p></p> tags right in the middle of the jQuery call to the MediaElement script.  It is really odd and I have no idea how to get the <p> tags to go away.

An example is here http://thejourneychurch.com/te…..mon_id=203.

If you view the source you will know what I am talking about down by the player.

Really odd.

EDIT:

I got it fixed. I had to delete and install the older version of 2.9.1 instead of messing with the newer version of Media Element.
