As far as I can tell, iTunes pulls information about podcasts from the RSS feed of that podcast. I submitted out podcast to iTunes using the url provided by sermonbrowser plugin. However the iTunes podcast information was not fully popolated. Things like author, and the album art were missing.

Can I ask, is it possible to edit the RSS feed manually to input the required information?

In the latest version there is a new area within the options table where you can assign title/artist/etc tags to your audio files.

Keep in mind that you have to edit the audio file itself to add in the information for itunes to find. It's easiest to edit audio files within itunes itself before you upload it to your server. That information should then show up in the feed properly if you set the options.

I have not yet tested this part, to busy working on templates, but the logic looks like it's all there in the code.

connormcc: You can edit podcast.php to enter the missing information, but remember that if you upgrade the plugin in the future, you'll need to make those changes again. At somepoint in the future SermonBrowser will include this feature, but there's several other features ahead of that in the queue, I'm afraid.

Hello Mark,
I am trying to edit the podcast.php file to insert the itunes:image tag and every time i save it the whole podcast function stops working. it is really weird. i even tried just to open the file without editing anything and just resave it and it still break the whole file… i tried it on the local machine and on two different servers… i am using a mac…

would you happen to know what the problem is? Appreciate it.
