Hi,

I'm running sermon browser for about 2 years now and this year we started a second service at our church in Dutch so we decided to use the "Services" option to filter Dutch and English messages. That worked great using shortcodes like

now I want people to subscribe to the new filtered podcasts so they don't get Dutch messages if they just want the english version. If you check the following link, you will see our first 2 messages for the Dutch service filter:

http://www.thousandhills.cc/co…..?service=8

and this are the podcast links for the Filtered semons itunes and other podcasts:

itpc://www.thousandhills.cc/connecting-virtually/message-download/?podcast=1&dir=desc&sortby=m.datetime

http://www.thousandhills.cc/connecting-virtually/message-download/?podcast=1&dir=desc&sortby=m.datetime

now if you apply any filter, preacher, year, or any other and you will get the same podcast link which in itunes (and reading the code for "others") will bring all messages and not just the selection.

does somebody know how can this be fixed?

thanks!
Antonio

Hi,

reading and reading found out that this was already resolved with an update some time ago. Seems that this year didn't follow up with all the updates done.

The reason I was not updating is because I did some minor changes and didn't want to lose them.

Now the question is:

can this line be added to the dictionary.php file under sb_search_results_dictionary?

'[sermon_description]' => 'description) ?>',

this lets me add the description to the sermon listings and makes the page feel more complete. Without this, the page looked a bit empty with just the titles.

check how it looks like now:

http://www.thousandhills.cc/co…..?service=1

hope this can be added soon.

the only thing I notice now is that as I removed the wpautop command, it looked like this before the update

'[sermon_description]' => '<!--?php echo wpautop(stripslashes($sermon->description)) ?>',

 now I have double line-breaks in the text. wpautop was not working so I wouldn't get the description in the search results.

how can I replace wpautop o have my paragraphs again?

thanks

antonio
