–edit 7:33 p.m. 12/22/2009–

Worked around it. Had to move the podcast subscription below the sermon number but it seems to have resolved the issue.

–edit–

I recently installed iRedlof login to give the login a little better look. Everything on the site is working great with the exception of the Sermon Browser and then it is only not right at the top of the page in the iTunes icon area. Can you take a look and tell me what I need to do fix this?

I know I can take off the iRedlof login and things will be fine but I would prefer to keep the login plugin on the site.

I appreciate any help you might be able to give me with this.

Where is your Wordpress site? I looked at thepeoplechurch.com, but it doesn't look to me like it is running Wordpress.

Maybe I'm missing something…

Well, that's because the developmental site is at thepeoplechurch.net.

I worked around the issue by moving the iTunes subscription below the sermons but a more permanent solution would be cool.

What, exactly, was the issue that you were seeing?

Looking at your site, I see a couple of things about the "Subscribe to Podcast" links.

First, the "iTunes" and "Other" links on your site are the same right now. Normally, the "iTunes" link should begin with "itpc://", and the "Other" link should begin with "http://". But on your site, both begin with "itpc://". To fix this, check your Sermon Browser template. The template tag for the iTunes link is [itunes_podcast], and the tag for the Other link is [podcast]. I suspect you've got [itunes_podcast] for both links currently in your template.

Second, you've got permalinks enabled for your site, which is great, but for some reason your podcast links are still pointing to the old "page_id" style link. To fix this, go to Sermons, Options, and look at the Public Podcast Feed box. For your site, it should be:
http://www.thepeoplechurch.net…..e/?podcast
I'm guessing that right now it says:
http://www.thepeoplechurch.net…..mp;podcast

Either will work, but using the permalink version (/the-message/) looks nicer and fits in better with the rest of your site.

I don't know if either of these things are related to the problems you were seeing, but I hope this helps. Let us know if there are any other problems.

Fixed the permalinks the iTunes and Other option. Thanks for the advice and it apprears to be fine.

I am going to "break" it back to the way the code was originally written so you can see what happens with the iTunes subcription "bubble." Maybe you might have a suggestion for what I can do to put the Subscribe back where it belongs. Should be back to the "broken" way in a few minutes.

I can fix this easily enough without modifying code by disabling the iRedlof Login plugin. I just didn't want to do that.

You have a similar problem to one that someone else had recently. In your case, both the Sermon Browser and iRedlof plugins have defined and are using the .clear class in their style sheets. Follow the instructions in this post and see if that fixes your problem:

One other thing before I forget it, the WP Audio Player version 1.x doesn't work on my site. However, when I went out to the plugin website and downloaded the 2.0 beta version, it worked fine. Not sure if that is a SB issue or a WP Audio issue. Either way, once I put 2.0 in the plugins, I was good to go.

That's a problem with the WP Audio Player 1. The auto installer from Wordpress doesn't install the plugin correctly. Installing 2.0 Beta was the right thing to do.
