OfflineHey, Mark– Glad to see your post this morning! Since you closed it, I hope you are still checking the forum and will see this response.
Sorry to hear that your updates aren't going as planned. And, I for one, totally sympathise with balancing ministry with hobby… Mine also seem to overlap at times. It can be good and bad.
It really gets down to how the Lord wants you spending your 24 hours a day, and I'm guessing it's not behind a screen editing code. :) — as much as we'd like that.
The community has been doing a good job of supporting SermonBrowser in your absence, so you should be proud of that! I think most questions, even my weird ones, get answers, and usually problems are reported as fixed in the end. Good stuff. You have a loyal following, and some very helpful folks seem to be sticking around here.
I think, as long as we know you are still out there and thinking about SermonBrowser, the community support will continue, allowing you to focus more on development… I wish I could help with development, but I'm more of a designer. I rely on you programmers to come up with the behind-the-scenes stuff. :)
Thanks for such a great plugin! … and especially for sharing it freely. This, by itself, if a tremendous ministry. Just imagine how much of God's messasge is getting out to the world because of your effort and generosity! I'm sure He is smiling down at you right now.
In Christ,
Matt
