I have gone through a myriad of posts in this forum and I have been able to go through the arduous process of getting my sermons to show up in iTunes, but it cannot download.

It shows an exclamation mark (!) next to the sermon title and then tells me:
"There was a problem downloading. The network connection could not be made."

My iTunes feed is as follows: itpc://leejyi.com/sermons/?podcast

I have done the following as suggested:
- I have added the "/" before the public URL
- I have reduced the actual filename to one word (letters and numbers)
- I have turned on PermaLink

Try adding "www" before the podcast feed address – in other words, "itpc://www.leejyi.com/sermons/?podcast" as opposed to "itpc://leejyi.com/sermons/?podcast". Once I add that, I am able to download the sermon. I am listening to it now.

You're able to download? I changed the link and I am still unable to. I get the following message:
"There was a problem adding ' ' to iTunes. The file might be corrupted, or a file type that iTunes cannot play."

Rich's new link doesn't work for me, either, unfortunately. I get the same error message in iTunes either way.

Lee, it looks like you've done some editing in your podcast.php. It is possible that you made a change that iTunes does not like. I suggest restoring the default Sermon Browser podcast.php file and see if it works.

Admittedly, I was not using iTunes – I was using a Linux program (the name escapes me). I am on my Windows machine now – and when I add the "www" iTunes doesn't like it – but I am able to subscribe via RSS in my web browser.

I am having the same issue. Everything is glowingly perfect until iTunes tries to download the feed. I'm really close this time. :)

Feedburner has SmartCast settings completed (iTunes ready). Any suggestions to proceed from here. As soon as I can get this solved I will add my first podcast ever!

Couldn't get to the forum to post for a couple of days due to the upgrade, but I wanted to let you know that I did notice that missing / moments after I posted that. When I saw that, I had remembered that it had bitten others in the past too. So my fault for not looking deep enough. All is well and still waiting to hear back from iTunes on the approval after 3 days.
