Has anyone already figured out how to add a "Share" or "Like" button to the sermon pages so people can share them on Facebook?

I see that it's easy to get the share button on there, but all it does is copy the "You need Adobe Flash Player…" text in as the description.

I share sermons on FB all the time, and I have yet to figure out how to fix that. I do know that if you clock on the text (You need Adobe…) before you actually share it, you can change that text to anything you want. I usually cut and paste the scripture text and put it there.

Yeah, I saw that in my playing around. My only issue with that is I can't count on other people to actually change that text, then it looks weird in Facebook.

I've been playing around with the backend a little to try to get it to populate all that stuff automatically.

We use the Wordbooker plugin (fantastic, by the way!), which not only automatically posts new posts & pages to our fan page, but also has the option for addition Facebook Like & Share buttons to pages/posts. I have it enabled to show those buttons on every page.

I have had no problems when I click that share button with it posting to my personal wall with the description of the sermon.

Might want to give it a shot!

I have tried several different plugins; my problem is that when it is a single sermon post, it gives the title of the sermon, but the description doesn't show, instead what shows is the web page footer.

For other posts, it works fine, but any that are done by SermonBrowser display the page footer. Any ideas?

I like Sharedaddy; maybe I will try Wordbooker.
