Hi Folks

I've searched with no success. I have 2 preachers set up. One has two sermons associated with a series. When I display:

It shows all of his sermons including the ones in his series. I would like to exclude the ones in his series – is that possible so I can then follow the above shortcode with:

and only display one copy of each of his sermons on the page?

Hope that makes sense…

Frank, a couple of things:

First, if you read your own post above, you'll see that there is some information missing. Currently, the forum is having trouble displaying some code, and it often strips it out. I'm not sure exactly what you were trying to post, so I don't know how best to tell you how to do it, but if you have a chunk of code you need to post to the forum, you can post it to this site:

After you post it there, it gives you a link that you can post here on the forum, so we can view what it is you are trying to communicate.

Second, it would help a lot if you could post a link to your site so we can all take a look at what you are seeing.

Sorry Ben, I didn't realize this forum stripped out the code. By asking a general question I thought I could avoid adding a link to the page as it doesn't matter what site it is.

The first shortcode is (without brackets) - sermons preacher=1 filter=none

The second one is - sermons preacher=1 series=7 filter=none

My problem is that the page is displaying the sermons twice, once for preacher 1 and once for preacher 1, series 7. I can create another preacher and include only the series that applies but I thought there might be a more elegant way in the shortcodes…?

I don't know of a way to display all of the sermons by a preacher except for sermons belonging to a particular series.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to do.
