Greetings,
I've used Sermon Browser on several websites with no issues. However, it's not displaying properly on a site I just completed.
The filter won't appear, and the sermons aren't separated by spacing and a line like normal.

The site is: http://www.dayspringopc.org/re…..s/sermons/

I am using the Striking theme, and a Wordpress menu. I did try deleting and re-installing the plug-in, but the results are the same.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

~Andrew

Just curious… what version of Sermon Browser are you using on the new site, and what version are you using on the prior sites?

I'm using version 0.45.4 on dayspringopc.org, 0.45.4 on http://www.houstonreformed.org…..a/sermons/, and 0.45.4 on http://www.pmopc.org/resources/sermons/.

It displays properly on HoustonReformed.org and PMOPC.org, but not on DayspringOPC.org…….

Greetings,

If anyone is able to help me, I will greatly appreciate it. I really like using the Sermon Browser plug-in, but will need to find an alternative solution if I can't get it properly configured soon.

With Thanks!
Andrew

Andrew, have you tried switching to the default Wordpress theme? If it works there, that means it's the theme. Also, the only time I have had the issue you had is when I was running the SuperCache plugin. Once I deactivated that cache it worked.

Greetings Rich,

Yes, it is a problem with the Striking theme. SB works with the other themes. I also deactivated the couple of other plug-ins I have installed, but that didn't help.

I guess I'll have to go with another solution for this site, and re-think using the Striking theme for church sites in the future. However, it is a great theme! I'm going to try out the PowerPress plug-in and see if that will work well.

Blessings in Christ,

Hi Andrew,

I noticed Sermon Browser plugin is working well on your Dayspring site now. So was it a theme issue?
I have a problem with my display too. Can somebody help me look at it. This is my testing site http://leonalim.com/kaog/sermons/

The logo for subscribe is behind the text and the titles are very tiny.

Blessings,
Leona

The issue is not fixed.  Actually I've been waiting to hit the two week mark before contacting Mark directly, since it is a theme issue, and I need help with a work-around to make the Sermon page display properly.  If anyone is able to help in this regard, I'd greatly appreciate it.  The database is working properly, but it is a display issue.

abmoody,

You appear to have many of the same issues that Leona had with her site:

http://www.sermonbrowser.com/f…..mons-page/

In that topic, I asked her to put in two fixes: Changing the "clear" class to "sb-clear", and removing the "#content" ID from the CSS.  Please try both of the template fixes that I asked her to do, and then post back here so I can take another look at your site.

Let me know if you have any questions about the instructions.

Greetings Ben,

Thank you very much!  Re-naming the class didn't seem to make a difference, but removing the #content tags from the style template did the trick!

I really appreciate your taking the time to help me with this.
