We are able to listen to the files fine online.

http://carlislefreechurch.org/…..mon_id=167

But, when you click on download you get an empty MP3 file.  No error but the file is empty.

Under options we have

"

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

"

 as the MP3 Shortcode.

okay, I have no idea how to place a simple code as text in this forum. soo.. it's  BRACKET audio:%SERMONURL% END-BRACKET

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Craig

I too am having this problem.

When I click on the download link the file name populates but the files size is zero. The audio stream works great though!

Any help would be appreciated.

After doing some basic "googling" I came up with the following "potential" problems. First off, check your php.ini file for the following lines, and if either are set to off, modify your php file to set them to on and resave the file:

;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
; Fopen wrappers ;
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

; Whether to allow the treatment of URLs (like http:// or ftp://) as files.
allow_url_fopen = On

; Whether to allow include/require to open URLs (like http:// or ftp://) as files.
allow_url_include = On

Depending on who your web host is, you may be at the mercy of their php.ini file or might not be able to manage it. Some good hosts will allow you to copy the php.ini file to your public_html directory and edit to your hearts content. If you are wondering the importance of these functions, you can look them up in the php manual here:

http://php.net/manual/en/files.....ation.php

Another setting in the same file is called output_buffering, and you can again read about what it does in the php online manual here:

http://php.net/manual/en/outco.....ration.php

Please try these solutions, and if they fix the problem, please post back to the forum so others who may have the same problem will have a solution also :o)

I hope this help one or both of you with your file issues. Have a blessed evening!! :o)

Grace & peace...

Shawn
