This looks like a great plugin if I can get it to work…..

I am using Audio Player by Martin Laine -

When I create a new sermon, the audio file can be downloaded using the Download Link, but will not play in the audio player.  I get an error, File Not Found.

Any other audio I create in a post (not a sermon) plays fine with the Audio Player.

I've gone back and forth in all posts and forums trying to find a solution – changing settings, removing Audio Player, etc.

I'm going to rip out my hair.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

Could you post a link to your site so we can take a look?

I'm having the same problem at http://fcf.net/9735/listen-aud…..rmon_id=26

Using Wp Audio player

Files are located here: /wp-content/uploads/sermons  and they are visible on the server but when I try to play, it says 'File NOT found'

I'm going to say that this is just plain crazy.  I logged on to the website I was working on to provide you the link and more detail regarding the error.  It is working.  Everything is playing.

Isn't that just bizarre?

Now just for curiosity sake, I am wondering:  the other day when I installed the app I created a new folder in the root of the website called 'audio' where the sermons are placed.  Could it be possible that the new folder / audio files were not propogated  within Wordpress until later that day or within a few days?  Sounds unusual, but it's the only thing I can think of.  I will be interested to see if Rebecca continues to have this problem in a few days.

Here is my test page anyway:  http://oursaviorcheyenne.org/ne/

Thank you so much for your assistance and for creating such a robust sermon feeder – I am happy that it is magically working! :)

Rebecca,

Let me comb through and post my settings for both the audio player and the sermon browser.  Who knows, maybe in my chaos of changing settings I did change something to make it work.  I'll post my settings here so that you can take a comparison look.

Hello,

How nice of you to try and help me.  I've not heard from SermonBrowser at all and I'm about ready to give up and go elsewhere to PowerPress Podcasting.  I did everything you suggested above with high hopes this would do it but nothing.  It is still saying "file not found"…..But thank you so much for your time and effort.  You are greatly appreciated!
