I have been looking through the FAQs,documentation (that I can find - although I am getting a parser error on the sermonbrowser website for most pages) and apologize in advance as this is a basic question. Would you please direct me to the documentation that explains how I can add a search function for the sermons that will automatically appear on the sermons list page?

Sermon Browser has two different "search" functions for sermons, called filters. There is a "drop-down" style filter, and a "one-click" style filter.
Here is an example of the "drop-down" style:
And here is an example of the "one-click" style (click on "Show filter" at the top of the page):
These filter features are selected in the WordPress control panel by clicking on Sermons, Options. Under Basic Options, Filter Type, you can select either Drop-down, One-click, or None.
After you select, press the Save button at the bottom of the Options page.
If you have one selected, but don't see it on your website, reply here with a link to your site so I can take a look.
