OfflineGood morning,
I have been a happy user of Sermon Browser for a few years now, and have helped many churches implement a Sermon Browser.
However, I have recently encountered a problem. When I try to add a sermon from an existing file on the Add Sermon page, I receive an error which reads "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page."
I have been able to duplicate this error on two different sites, so I am pretty sure it is a bug.
Is anyone else having this problem? And if so, what can I do to solve it?
Steps to Duplicate
1. Login to WordPress with an Administrator account.
2. Upload an MP3 file but do not attach it to a sermon record.
3. On the Add Sermon page, under the heading which reads "Select an MP3 file here to have the Add Sermons form pre-filled using ID3 tags," in the "Choose existing file:" row, select an unattached MP3 file, and click "Select."
4. The error page shows up: "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page."
Thank you,
Daniel V
I was getting a similar error for sermons that I had already uploaded into the /uploads/sermons/ folder.
What I did to fix: instead of choosing the select existing file from the first drop-down box, I chose it from the 2nd drop-down box under "Attachments (add more)" after filling out the rest of the form. Seemed to work like a charm.
Maybe you know a fix for this, I only see 7 files listed in there and some of the sermons that I need to choose are not showing up. Not sure if there is a limit on how many show up in the drop-down box. Any ideas?

OfflineIt is a bug, not sure why it does what it does, but the purpose for being able to select the sermon from the list is that (if the audio file is properly encoded with the attributes) it will pull in the name of the preacher and the other information. I have found a way around this for now.
Upload the sermon just as you have been doing.
Then, go to the Add Sermon just as before, but on this screen, select the "Upload" button. It will take you to another screen that will show you sermons that are "unlinked" and you can then select "create sermon" from that screen and it will act just as it did before when you would select the file.
